Up to three Gravity or Stirred Powder Hoppers may be fitted in any combination. A shutter allows them to be easily lifted off for cleaning or filling.
Alternatively tablets can be produced from a measured weight of powder being hand-filled into the die. More usually the die would be filled with powder from the automatic hoppers.

A Push-Off arm takes the tablet into the collection carousel. It can carry an optional Push-Off Loadcell, and the push-off speed may be programmed for accurate tablet press simulation. Manual tablet removal may be programmed.

The collection carousels have numbered slots so that each tablet produced is identifiable. An automatic system recognises which size of carousel is fitted. Carousels are easily fitted with a cover and lifted off for tablet inspection.
Immediate output may be programmed, for tablet collection in a tray or for early measurement of properties.

Punches and Dies can be changed in less than 10 minutes. New self aligning punch holders de-skill the set-up of the machine. The machine takes B, D or F type tooling, and keyed tooling is accommodated. All other machine settings may be pre-programmed, making test set-up very quick. This gives maximum return on investment in staff and facilities.

Multi-layer tablets may be produced fully automatically using up to 3 hoppers. Inter-layer vacuuming of the die area may be programmed for clean interfaces.
