Roller Compaction Simulation Tooling
Most compaction simulator users produce slugs for granulation on their machines. They also study the behavior of their formulations under roller compaction conditions as a material sparing development option.
This testing is more convenient with the appropriate tooling and machine options.
Tooling consists of:
Large rectangular punches, typically 22mm x 10mm in “D” or “F” format
Large rectangular die to suit in “D” or “F” format
Take-Off pusher shoe to suit
Collection magazine to suit
Software consists of:
Automatically loaded roller compaction test profiles
